Happy birthday, Mom!

We celebrated my Mom's birthday today. I'm not allowed to say how old she is, but let's just say she reached a significant milestone.


We were very happy that our friend Michelle was able to fly in from Colorado to join us for the big party and spend a few days with us.

Thanks to my friends at Manna, I am moving up in stature. No more bouncy chair for me!

Morning Stretch

Every night before I go to bed, my mom and dad swaddle me very tight so I'll sleep peacefully. It works really well, but when I wake up in the morning, it takes me quite a while to unwind.

Accessories

Not all of my clothes are pink, so sometimes I need to accessorize a little bit to show my feminine side...

Yay for Yia Yia!

My mom returned to work this week, so her mom (my Yia Yia) came back to DC to stay with me during the daytime. I miss having my mom around all day, but my Yia Yia takes good care of me and we smile and laugh A LOT.

Salma meets Salma

I am not the only Salma in my family. My Dad has a niece named Salma who lives in France. She arrived in DC a couple of days ago and I finally got to meet her. As you can see from the pictures below, she's very beautiful, and we get along really well. I'm looking forward to spending more time with her over the next couple of weeks.

Why am I so happy?

Because after 6 months of searching for the right one, my mom & dad are finally buying a house! I already picked out the paint color for my bedroom!
